ABSTRACT

In this study, the correlations between foreign language classroom anxiety, learned helplessness, and teacher motivational support were examined. Findings showed that foreign language classroom anxiety is moderately correlated with learned helplessness and disliking teacher. Regression analysis showed that learned helplessness and teacher motivational support explain 19% of the variance in foreign language classroom anxiety.
