To improve quality aiming at teacher development, the present study relies on mega planning theory to look for two concepts advisable to novice teachers, namely style and performance. The results of the study firstly showed that the dominant teaching styles among the successful teachers were identified as the Model and Facilitator. Secondly, the analysis of teaching performance indicated that planning played a significant role in the effectiveness of these teachers. Thirdly, various other factors were identified that contributed to teachers' success, including seeking inspiration from other successful teachers, continuously pursuing learning opportunities, staying informed and up-to-date, cultivating flexibility in teaching practices, and embracing change. Thus, novice teachers are recommended to speculate about the features of successful teachers in terms of their teaching styles and their performance in order to have them as a guideline. Also, teacher trainers are advised to care for the features of successful teachers and train the novice teachers toward the concepts.
